It's the first time I've painted with gouache in a way that emulates oil painting, and it may be the only way I'll use gouache from now on! I feel it really resonates with me, my work, and the atmosphere I want to convey in my imagery.
The inspiration from this piece came from the stunning view from my workplace window.
