Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme

on cold pressed watercolour paper. Original. ©Irene Palmas 2022
I have always loved the English folk song "Scarborough Fair" so much. Lately I've been listening to Simon&Garfunkel's version a lot and playing it on my new Irish tin whistle. So I decided to make a little tribute to the song by drawing the four herbs mentioned in its famous verses.
Original unframed painting carefully and lovingly shipped in a biodegradable, compostable, recyclable cello bag.
PLEASE NOTE: The drawing was varnished to prevent the graphite from smudging. However, direct sunlight can still make the graphite fade. Please don't expose the piece to direct sunlight.
DISCLAIMER: The white edges of the paper are not in perfect condition - some tearing and graphite smudges, barely visible from a distance. This is the reason why the price is lower than it would normally be for a drawing this size. The central piece, however, is in perfect condition.
Info on the paper:
Acid-free cold pressed watercolour paper
300 gsm
12x16 inches (30.48x40.64cm)
Original graphite drawing, cottagecore, forestcore, folk, folklore, country, countryside, nature, pencil
