A delightful little Halloween market @ Coffee at Adorned
What a pleasant day I spent at this new, little pop-up market event!
On a regular day, Adorned is a small but beautiful tattoo studio in the heart of Ashley Cross, Poole. At the front is a little café (Coffee at Adorned) that fully matches the gothic/alternative/maximalist aesthetic of the tattoo shop. I had visited the café before, and I can enthusiastically recommend their food and drinks!
This October the Adorned staff organised a little pop-up Halloween market, and invited me to attend. I had met Nazine, their admin, at a previous market (Nazine had her own stall, Nazine Alice Designs, full of hand-sewn gothic goods for humans and cats), and she contacted me asking me whether I fancied joining them on this occasion. I’m so glad I did!
After a few gigs in the area with both bands (Night-ish, Lunar Mer) and a few local markets, I’m really starting to feel part of the witchy/alternative community here in Bournemouth. I wasn’t always this keen on connecting with other creatives; I guess the “social muscle” needs to be exercised regularly. But now I’m so glad I’m starting to make connections. Attending these markets, regardless of whether I’m a visitor or a vendor for the day, often fills me with inspiration and motivation to keep going with my creative journey.
This time, I had the pleasure to set up my stall alongside:

- That Green Lady (Instagram: @that_green_lady)
- Mystika Candles (Instagram: @mystikacandles)
- Lifting the Veil Guidance Readings (Instagram: @liftingtheveilguidance)
- Crystal Krafts by Laura
I plan on going back to Coffee at Adorned (@coffeeatadorned) for an indulgent brunch very soon, and who knows, perhaps pop to the back for what would be my first tattoo…
